Assistance to Sri Lanka in aid of Covid19
A Project Coordinated by Sydney Sri Lankan Lions Club
Due to growing numbers of Covid19 in Sri Lanka, Sydney Sri Lankan Lions Club with assistance from Dot Foundation in Sydney initiated a charity fundraising project in May 2021 to help hospitals in Sri Lanka with urgently needed medical equipment.
Many hospitals have indicated that AirVo2 High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Delivery Units were urgently required to help patients throughout the island. With our plea to help Sri Lanka, many individuals and organizations throughout the world have donated funds to send 20 AirVo2 machines plus other urgent medical aid to Sri Lanka.
This is another great humanitarian project coordinated, facilitated, delivered and handed over in Colombo by Sydney Sri Lankan Lions Club with help from many individuals and groups.
These extensively utilised medical equipment has already saved many lives, relieved the suffering of many patients and continuing to do so even now.
